Mike knows home construction from the ground up - literally. He began what would become his career and his passion picking up nails at job sites when he was about six years old. Mike's grandfather, Jack Scanlon, founded Brown Midwest, LC, in 1953, and Mike's dad, Gabe Brown believed Mike was never too young to get a feel for the family business. Mike is currently serving as President of the Greater Kansas City Homebuilder's Association and is a member and director of the National Association of Home Builders.
